Dr. Jeffrey Wittmus practices cosmetic and family dentistry on the far northwest side of Chicago. He provides a full range of dental services including: periodontal cleanings, many choices of teeth whitening, implants, root canals, dentures, state of the art restorative techniques and preventative dental care, for children and adults. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in 1991. Before he opened his dental office in 1993, Dr. Wittmus served as the house staff dentist at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He also received a Bachelor's degree in Zoology at the University of Miami in Ohio in 1987.

Dr. Wittmus is currently the President of the Arcolian Dental Arts Society, whose charitable works have both benefited and been recognized by the Italian-American community. He is also the house staff dentist for the Danish Home in Norwood Park.
Dr. Wittmus currently serves as the vice-president of the Northwest Side Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. He has been active with the Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association for over past fifteen years.

In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Wittmus is the founder and inspiration of Grateful Dental, Inc. This is a non-profit charity group dedicated to helping children in need of dental care. The Academy of Dentistry International awarded a fellowship to Dr. Wittmus for his charitable works in 1995. Every summer since 2001 Dr. Wittmus has led a team of dentists to provide dental care for orphaned children in Armenia.
